We offer everything because Jesus gave us everything.
Everything we produce is offered for free. Why? Because we believe that, just as Jesus gave His life for us, we can reflect this generosity by sharing stories of faith and overcoming. We don't do this alone. As a producer committed to the Christian purpose, we depend on God, who provides through people like you, to continue producing, editing and sharing our films, bringing the message of Isaiah 61 to even more people.
We offer everything because Jesus gave us everything.
At I61 Filmes, we share our productions freely. Why? Because Jesus gave His life for us, and we seek to reflect this generosity in every story we tell. We don't do this alone. With the support of God and people like you, we are able to produce, edit, and share documentaries that move and inspire, bringing the message of Isaiah 61 to the world.
Story
Everything is about Jesus.
Since young, Marcelo Simões, creative director and founder of I61 Filmes, always had a passion for the seventh art. After years of work at Banco do Brasil and corporate audiovisual projects, this passion united with a greater purpose. Inspired by Isaiah 61, Marcelo realized he could use his skills to produce documentaries and films that exalt faith, overcoming adversity, and freedom in Christ. This journey led to the birth of I61 Filmes, a ministry committed to impacting lives through emotional and authentic stories.
Since its foundation, I61 Filmes has dedicated itself to technical excellence and generosity in sharing its projects. Every production is guided by two non-negotiable principles: glorifying God and reaching people in search of hope and renewal. Although it started its productions in Brazil and the United States, I61 Filmes has plans to expand to Italy and Israel, bringing the transformative message of the Gospel to even more places. With documentaries that touch the heart, the producer seeks to capture not only stories, but the redemptive power of Christ in action.
Everything is about Jesus.
From an early age, Marcelo Simões, founder and creative director of I61 Filmes, discovered his love for audiovisual media. After a successful career at Banco do Brasil, where he led audiovisual and institutional projects, he felt a call to something greater: using his passion and talent to tell stories that glorify God and inspire transformation. Guided by the passage of Isaiah 61, Marcelo founded I61 Filmes with the goal of creating documentaries and productions that exalt faith, overcoming adversity, and freedom.
Since its creation, I61 Filmes has dedicated itself to technical excellence and generosity in sharing its films. The producer follows two fundamental principles: glorifying God in every production and making the films accessible to all. With projects carried out in Brazil and the United States, and plans for Italy and Israel, I61 Filmes seeks to reach hearts with authentic and impactful stories that reflect the restorative power of Christ.
